Poem: What One Begins to See in the Stones

I can’t believe that I did not post this here, but I had a poem published “What One Begins to See in the Stones” in an online journal called Mediterranean Poetry: an odyssey through the mediterranean world. The poem was a bagatelle of a postcard that I wrote in Lago di Garda after spending a few days in Venice some years ago. The editor was kind enough to publish it but did point out that the Mediterranean is actually on the Adriatic Sea. But I am an American, what the hell do we know about geography?

The picture below is myself with our dear friend, Tina Vierra.

Lovely poem, so evocative of Italy.
